Answer: There's "easier" lines on the rope side. There's a rope side and a bouldering side and I'm pretty sure your child needs to weigh something like 40lbs at least, to be able to put a harness on and have the auto belay rope, work for him. Don't quote me on that weight though. Bouldering side, the child can only climb as high as you can reach (safety precautions). My 3 yr old still won't even put the harness on....

Answer: Yes, there is A/C. They just replaced the system with their renovation a few months ago though, so this year will be the first summer with it. It got a little warm when I was there a few days ago, but not uncomfortably so.

Answer: Depends on whether you bring your own gear and wether you get a membership or one time event. First time is the most expensive for gear, short training, and entry fee. The more you go, the less expensive. Call them for exact costs.

Question: Once you buy a day pass is it unlimited time you can climb?

Answer: The day pass is valid for the whole day.
Answer: That is correct! A day pass is good for the entire day, plus it includes any group classes that we might have going on that day, such as yoga and Ninja F.I.T.T

Question: my daughter is two and recently in Sedona she expressed strong desires to climb. Is there a place for a two year old to learn to climb ? And at what time ?

Answer: There is a beginner wall that's aimed at kids probably around 6YO or older, but my 4YO was somewhat successful on it. Probably aren't really any areas where a 2YO would be big enough to climb easily, but that's not to say it would be impossible on the training/beginner wall. Take them in once and see how they do. Waiver required for everybody in the gym. Climbing fee for all climbers too. If you're not a member, the general hours are posted online. Children's shoe rentals available, but again 2YO might be a tad small and I'm not sure there will be shoes available that small.
Answer: While BRB is a great Boulder gym that can be enjoyed by the whole family, I don't think it would be an appropriate starting point for a two year old.

Answer: No. You would need a partner. Focus Climbing Center is relatively close by and they do have auto-belay systems.
Answer: Yes but only on one section and its for tournaments and competitions, the rest is partner belay or bouldering.

Question: Do you have to bring a partner to be able to climb?

Answer: Bringing a partner is highly recommended. If you come alone there may be someone else who needs a partner. There is also a bouldering area where you can climb alone.
Answer: Bringing a partner allows you to climb a bunch of other paths but you don't need one as you can still climb in the bouldering area.
Answer: Having a partner helps for top rope, otherwise you don't need one for bouldering. Usually ppl dont mind a new friendly face joining their ranks. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, you can meet up with SCAB (Southwest Bouldering And Climbing on MeetUp). Its a great group headed by Alex, who's super knowledgeable and the group is a great way for beginners and ppl without partners to get in some good climbs, if you're too shy to approach ppl on your own.
Answer: Bringing a climbing partner is definitely advisable. However, if you be friendly you could probably enroll another single climber to help belay.
Answer: There are facebook groups you could join to find climbing partners. Such as Phx Local Climbing Friends.
Answer: You don't have to but I know going with one made it more fun.
Answer: While you don't need a partner to boulder (climb in designated areas with no ropes), you will need a partner to belay (hold your rop) on the top rope walls. There are often odd number groups to join in with, so pit on your friendly face, and get on up the wall!

Answer: No reservations needed. If you have a large party and haven't climbed there before plan a little extra time for orientation and whatnot.

Answer: No reservations needed, but if you have a large party or more than a few new climbers call in to give them a heads up. Also plan to spend around 20 mins going through an orientation if you plan on rope climbing
