Answer: Since you can find a sign at any dock saying you cannot use motorized watercrafts, I would assume not. But with the lake being so narrow, I'm pretty sure with a good enough cast you can hit the center of it from the bank.

Answer: Tempe Town Lake is large enough to have several places to park. The Marina on the Northside has free parking for cars but also vehicles pulling a boat trailer for those that want to use the boat ramp. Be sure to have your boat permitted before launching. There is also parking under the Mill Ave bridge for those wanting to use the North Beach access for beach launched boats or simply to put your toes in sand. Parking on the South side of the lake is associated with parks and the Tempe Arts. You can also find boat rentals near the Mill avenue bridge South shore.

Answer: Hi Cynthia, while we will rent boats to members of our affiliated clubs, we do not rent to outside members. Thank you.
Answer: The skipper needs to be checked out by one of the Aventura staff, for the larger boats additional checkout/logbook/licence may be required. There is also a shadow sailor program where an experienced voulenteer is aboard to assist as necessary.
