Answer: Swimmers itch has a few common names. Duck mites and duck lice are just a few. If you towel off immediately after getting out of the water and avoiding shallow areas with a lot of plant growth will prevent a majority of cases.
Answer: No. Quail is clean and has no swimmer's itch. Many triathlon training people are coming to Quail to avoid the itch.
Answer: You know what, now that you asked this I had to look it up. And I've has a spotty rash all over my stomach since I left here 3 weeks ago. I remember people talking about Sand Hollow having duck lice, so I'm assuming this is similar.

Answer: Unfortunately not at this location because it is a southern store. They do not carry any ski or snowboard hardware, only clothing. Though the full assortment can always be found on REI.com.

Question: Does the store have internal hub gears for bicycles. Like Sturmey Archer?

Answer: REI generally doesnt have a big parts selection. They might be able to order you a shimano nexus or alfine, but certainly not a sturmey archer

Answer: Their store hours change in early September to 9-5 M-F and 9-6 Saturday and possibly Sunday (not sure about close time on Sunday) and like most people, want to get home to their families and lock the doors at 5. In April or May, they change back to 9-6 M- sun. Yes, the Kemah store is open much later. I think until 8pm.
